Past emotional wounds can bleed into the present
Our emotional wounds can attach to physical injuries or even to diseases. This pattern is often buried deep within the psyche and hard to identify.
You know your mind and body are connected but can you feel it?
The power of somatic or body-based practices, like meditation and inner listening, is that they transfer knowledge from your mind into real experiences in your body.
Feeling afraid? So many of us are. Here’s one technique to shift your experience.
What if you look at fear as nothing more than an energy? It’s a damaging energy to dwell in for too long because it creates contraction and inhibits our functioning at every level.

How do you react to a pain in your body or mind? Do you become scared, angry, sad or inquisitive?

Embody Your Truth
So much of what seems wrong in our lives is actually a deflection of what's really wrong. Our psyche is organized to protect us from our deep pain. As a result, we project a story onto the people in our daily lives so we don't have to see ourselves.
Your body can talk to you, learn to listen.
We hold our life stress and unprocessed emotions in the tissues of our body. While you may not be in the habit of listening to your hurting back, it is possible that it can ‘talk to you’.
