Who Am I?

I feel my calling is to teach people how to heal themselves. My motivation to help you transform your life and your healing comes from my own suffering and transformation.

All throughout my teenage years, I was in chronic pain that nobody could understand. At seventeen, I couldn’t walk up a flight of stairs, and by twenty-one, I was in a wheelchair. Yet, at twenty-three, I hiked up a mountain in Nepal, which was beyond anything I could have imagined when I was younger.

What happened in between?

I traveled through the dark passageway of my own healing journey and re-learned to feel safe in my body. I used therapy, osteopathy, and healing diets to support me but the greatest driver of my radical healing was meditation; not just to quiet the mind but meditation as medicine. I learned to hold myself in the ways I wasn’t held and sense through inner listening which other supports I needed to heal.

My healing prompted a change in career away from business into the healing arts. I’ve studied homeopathic medicine, yoga-based psychotherapy, yoga teacher training, meditation intensives, reiki, and have mentored with eclectic healers.

In my practice, I’ve worked with individuals who are healing from anxiety, depression, breast cancer, migraines, endocrine disorders, thyroid disease, neurological disorders, abusive relationships, traumas, and many other health challenges. My gift is helping people see the trauma and adaptations that lie under these disorders.

It may surprise you to know that I’ve never met anyone with any significant health or life challenge that didn’t have some degree of emotional suppression or trauma healing that was needed. I’d be happy to talk with you and shine a light on how you got to this place in your life and how you can move forward.

How do wish you could feel? More is possible for you.

My Healing Philosophy

I have been practicing some combination of homeopathy, body-based psychotherapy, yoga, and meditation instruction for over 20 years.

There are so many twists and turns within a healing process. Healing is like traveling through a maze that has poor lighting and many dead ends. False starts, slips, and doubt are expected. As a healer, my intention is to help you move through these challenges and stay on your personal healing path.

So much of the change that’s needed to profoundly heal our bodies happens within our inner world; in our minds, and in our way of being.

Would you believe that in over 10 years of practice as a Homeopath and somatic therapist, I never met anyone with a chronic ailment that didn’t have some degree of suppressed emotional material to deal with? That’s why somatic healing, which helps release suppressed emotions, is so powerful. Time and time again, I’ve seen that accessing old wounds and attending to that pain, resolves present-day symptoms.

I’m not talking about crying old tears and endless catharsis. The Principles of Somatic Healing and related Self Healing Tools that I teach offer people a new way of being with themselves.

I’ve seen people use these tools to heal from intense physical and mental pain - Lyme Disease, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, and Addiction.

Ultimately, it’s each person’s responsibility to do their own healing work, but the challenge is knowing what to do! That’s where I come in. It’s my job to teach you how to heal yourself. I hold a strong belief in your wholeness until you can hold it for yourself.

Through my immersive program, The Life Transformation Intensive (LTI) I’ll be your healer, coach, homeopathic liaison, and case manager, and with the extra support from the group, we’ll support you to access balance and foster wellness. Imagine a passageway where you can be fully held as you learn how to heal yourself.
