Homeopathy provides support for the changes you want to make in your life. This medicine reaches far beyond the physical symptoms that ail you. By working at the intersection of the mind and the body, homeopathic remedies can provide support for any kind of personal growth.

To heal and grow we need to shift our existing patterns. For any of you who have tried to make major life changes, you’ll know that letting go of old ways isn’t so simple. We can create new intentions, plans and routines but often, under stress, people fall back into their old ways. The old ways feel safe, even when they no longer align with how we want to live.

Our old ways represent our coping mechanisms for everything that challenged us in life. The part of us who developed those ways of thinking and being is attached because at one time, those were our survival mechanisms.

So how does it work? Well, a homeopathic remedy is an energetic stimulus that pushes the mind/body out of its current holding pattern. Think of it like a coach talking over your shoulder saying, “Come on, it’s way better over here.”

We can adjust the volume of the ‘coach’s voice’ by customizing the posology of your remedy. Someone with a fragile nature and a sensitive skin condition needs a much softer gentler approach than somebody who is stubborn in the mind and constipated in the body.

It takes time and care to find the best remedy to match the patient’s life circumstance. As a homeopath, I consider a vast range of symptoms and health history for each person. As a homeopathy patient, you may not really understand how it works for quite a while. When a remedy moves so deeply into your being that the shifts you have been struggling to make come together effortlessly, that’s when the light bulb goes on.
