How to treat Covid at home
As the world starts to shift towards the notion of living with Covid, I’d like to take a break from my somatic healing writing to share what I’ve learned in the countless hours I’ve spent researching how to treat Covid.
When my family had Covid in February 2020, we treated it with homeopathy, because that’s how we treat all illnesses in my house. We were medically fine, but for my husband and me, it was a rough ride.
Two years later, there is so much information about how to prevent and treat Covid, yet the government directive is still ‘go home and rest, come to the hospital when you can’t breathe’, by which point, the disease is advanced and it’s rather late.
Did you know that early treatment of Covid is the single biggest lever to prevent severe illness and death? Early treatment has more influence on the outcome than vaccination status or comorbidities but most people don’t know what to do.
Many people don’t feel that sick in the first few days so they stay home and don’t do anything. Meanwhile, the virus is replicating like crazy and we don’t know at that point, whether the case will be mild or severe.
It’s amazing how much less stressful Covid is when you feel confident you can treat it. So it behooves us to have a Covid treatment kit in our homes. Mine is loaded with many supplements and medicines. The mantra with treating Covid is ‘hit it hard early.’
I can’t give you medical advice but I can share what’s in my kit and encourage you to be prepared. Most of these supplements aren’t easy to find so you have to order them in advance. Choose premium brands and please check with your health care practitioner before taking any medicines, especially if you have underlying conditions or are taking other medications.
I’ve seen variations of this protocol working with excellent results. For further information about treatment, I refer you to the FLCCC I-Mask protocol and to the CCCA.
Prevention Supplements
Vit D - approx 2000 IUs daily. Check your levels by getting a blood test. Optimal protection happens over 150 ug/L (normal range on the test in Ontario is 75-250).
Vit C - 500-1500 mg/day
Magnesium - 200-400 mg/day
Zinc - 30-40 mg/day
Quercetin - 250-400 mg/day
Daily Netti pot to rinse the nose and sinuses with saline solution.
Gargle with mouthwash to kill bacteria in your throat. My favourite is Doterra’s mouthwash (not a product placement). The strongest option is povidone-iodine mouthwash (check with your health practitioner if you have thyroid issues).
Alternate these immune-supporting supplements (each day one of these choices for prevention):
NAC - N-acetylcysteine - 500 mg/day
Curcumin (Turmeric, formulated with black pepper) - 500 mg/day
Alpha Lipoic Acid - 600 mg 1x/day
L-arginine - 500 mg/day
Nigella Sativa - 40 mg/day
Raw honey - 1 tsp/day
Treatment Protocol (for approx 5 days from the first positive test)
NAC - N-acetylcysteine - 500 mg 2x/day
Curcumin (Turmeric, formulated with black pepper) - 500 mg 2x/day
Alpha Lipoic Acid - 600 mg 2x/day
L-arginine - 500 mg/day
Quercetin - 250-400 mg 2x/day
Nigella Sativa - 80 mg/day
3 6 Beta Glucan - 500 mg/day
Genestra Col sterol - 650 mg/day
Zinc - 50 mg/day (very helpful to have a spray version for sore throats)
Vit D - 5000-10000 IUs daily
Vit C - 500-1000 mg 2x/day
Melatonin - 1-5 mg/day at bedtime (based on sensitivity)
Raw honey - use liberally, take tsp raw, don’t heat it
Nebulize Glutathione - I’ve seen this therapy help with coughs, headaches, lung congestion and accelerates healing so much! You need a small portable nebulizer and this form of glutathione. Open one capsule and pour it into 1 tsp of filtered or boiled water into the medicine cup. It takes about 10-15 minutes to inhale the glutathione vapor. It’s ideal to use it twice a day for treatment and 1x per week for prevention.
Ivermectin is the heaviest hitter for fighting Covid. Despite the media trash campaign(1), it remains highly effective at stopping viral replication. The FLCCC is now recommending 0.4mg/kg. I’ve seen it work at 0.2-0.3mg/kg but my sample size is low. Ivermectin is difficult to get but there are ways and it’s well worth your effort. It’s the single most potent Covid fighting medicine on this list. If you can’t get ivermectin, make sure to have Nigella Sativa, which is nature’s closest alternative.
For Omicron, Hydroxychloroquine (also trashed by the media but highly effective), 200 mg twice daily is recommended.
If you’d like to learn more about the science that’s been censored by mainstream media on the subject of Covid treatment, here are a few experts that I trust.
Piere Korry, Brett Weinstein - Joe Rogan interviewing both of them.
Dr. Mobeen Syed - Excellent medical educator. His lectures are illustrated and easy to understand even if you’re not a medical student.
Regardless of your vaccination status, it’s now clear that everyone is getting Covid and I believe it’s well worth the effort to get prepared to treat it at home, right away.
These treatments can also be used to ward off getting sick, once you’ve been exposed to Covid.
I hope this information is helpful to you. If you read this list and get too overwhelmed to do anything, make some choices and fill your cabinet with some of what’s on the list.
